Nathan Kruse is a 2001 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Forestry and Forest Management. Nathan has always had an interest in the outdoors. Growing up in Door County, he worked at Peninsula State Park throughout high school. While attending an environmental careers camp, Nathan discovered he could combine his passion for the outdoors with a career in urban forestry. While in college, Nathan continued to work at Peninsula State Park. He also completed an internship with a landscape company, which allowed him to explore the nursery side of the green industry. Since graduation, Nathan has worked in the tree care industry, applying the knowledge he gained at UWSP and adding new skills acquired from his daily work experiences. Nathan earned his Arborist Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture in 2003. He lives in Appleton with his wife Allison and two daughters, Gwenna and Mara.
